Improve Your Life in 15 Minutes a Day

15 Minutes to Change Your Life

You’ve heard the commercials. You can lose weight and get in shape in just 15 minutes a day. Of course, you have to buy the equipment or exercise program they are selling. Well, I’m not trying to sell you anything here. I am trying to sell you on an idea – a technique that could change your life. And it’s free for the taking!

I’m going to ask you some questions and I want you to answer them honestly. This isn’t a test. There’s no grade involved and no one else ever needs to hear your answers.

Do you waste at least 15 minutes a day?

Most of us are so busy we can’t imagine that we ever waste a moment. But please think carefully.

Do you watch TV?

Do you sleep more than is necessary?

Perhaps you’re a smoker and you take smoke breaks.

Do you wait in long lines at the bank? Grocery store? Walmart or Target? Anywhere?

Do you think there is any way possible you could find 15 minutes every day to do something that could improve your life?

When you think about it, 15 minutes isn’t a terribly long time. But when you add them up, look what you get:

15 minutes x 365 days = 91.25 hours per year.

That’s nearly 4 days a year!

Think of the possibilities. If you participated in an activity for just 15 minutes a day, here are some of the things you can accomplish:

  • Reading just 15 minutes a day will allow you to read an average book in 3 weeks.
  • Depending on your weight, jogging a mere 15 minutes a day can burn 100 calories or more.
  • Impress your boss, coworkers and friends with your increased vocabulary by spending 15 minutes a day with a vocabulary building program.

The list goes on and on.

Not only are you improving yourself in mind and body, there’s an added benefit that makes it even more worthwhile. Research has shown that stretching ourselves out of our comfort zone a little each day can make us more healthful and youthful and may prevent dementia.
