Your subconscious mind never rests or sleeps. It is the controller of your heart and all the bodily functions that are concerned with the restoration of your health and the preservation of your life.
An important discovery is : by plainly stating to the subconscious mind the things you want to accomplish, it goes to work by intuition to bring into your conscious world the desired result
THIS IS WHY PLAINLY WRITTEN DOWN GOALS ARE SO EFFECTIVE.
1) It is necessary for the goals to be clear for the subconscious to have unambiguous directions. The act of writing them down clearly, clarifies your desire in your conscious mind and transmits a clear definition of your goal for it to work on.
2) Having the goal written down, (and you should look at it every day ) re-stimulates to subconscious to keep it searching for ideas and ways for you to succeed. It will work endlessly to bring you success, This is evidenced by the sudden Eureka moments, or the sudden awaking in the middle of the night with a flash of inspiration or the solution to a problem firmly in your mind. When you learn the way your subconscious mind is always working for you in this way and you learn how to make better use of it, then you will have access to an infinite resource that obeys your every command. It does not argue or question your demands, which is why it is so important to give your instructions in clear and plain language.YOU HAVE HEARD THE EXPRESSION ” Be careful what you wish for…” this has arisen because people wish for things in an imprecise way and are often surprised by the results which are not really what they desired.
3) In addition to the practice of having clearly written goals, another way to supercharge the power of your mind and speed up the results is to devote time to creative thinking.
You have to bring your mind to stillness first. You will not be able to do this for long at first but it is a practice you will find very rewarding if you persevere and make it a habit.
Start by sitting quietly, let your body relax into the chair, close you’re eyes and empty your mind of all the flow of thoughts. You will only manage a few seconds at first, you will be surprised at just how busy your mind always is, try not to get hooked up in the thoughts but keep coming back to stillness. As you practice this each day, in the same room and in the same chair (if this is possible) you will be able to extend the stillness and you will begin to enjoy the feeling of peace that comes from it. When you have developed the habit to this stage it is time to move on to the next, which is to command the infinite power of your subconscious mind to go to work for you.
Set yourself up as before and once your mind is still, introduce instructions, such as
” Find ways to improve the quality of my life.” or “What else can I do to build my business.” ” How can I overcome the problem I am having with—–.”
At first the results may be slow but as you repeat the sessions the ideas will flow, very soon you will become enthused with all the new ideas that your creative mind has produced for you. The best way forward to your goals will become clear to you and your enthusiasm will give you the power to carry out the actions you need to take to carry you to your success.
